According to the victims, no one was inside the apartment from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 27th.
Upon one roommate's arrival, he discovered that the door was not secured and that all of their electronic equipment had been taken. While there was no sign of forced entry, the locking mechanism on the door appeared to be too far from the notch in the door, making it easy to open with the proper amount of push, police said.
