Man Charged with Armed Robbery on Forsyth Street
An Everett man was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing an iPhone at knifepoint.

An Everett man was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing an iPhone.
Boston Police responded to a report of a woman yelling that she had just been robbed at 2:54 p.m. on Friday in the vicinity of Hemenway and Forsyth Street.
According to the victim, the suspect grabbed the victim’s iPhone and purse and fled on foot.

Police described the suspect as a black male in a blue hoodie. A suspect matching the description was observed walking on Saint Stephen Street, heading towards Massachusetts Avenue, according to police. An officer then gave chase to the suspect, heading towards Symphony Hall.
Police apprehended the suspect was apprehended as he exited the Massachusetts Avenue T station on Massachusetts Avenue. An officers’ uniform was reportedly ripped in a brief struggle. In the struggle, a white iPhone reportedly fell out of the suspect’s pocket. Officers reportedly found a black folding knife in the suspects’ pocket as well.

Once the suspect was positively identified, the suspect admitted that he had taken the iPhone and that he had no criminal record. He allegedly told police he "just needed money."
The victim told police that she had been walking along Aggaziz Road when she noticed someone following her. She said the suspect approached her and grabbed the iPhone out of her hands. She then chased after the suspect and shouted for help. As she came within five feet of the suspect, the suspect reportedly spun around, pulled something from his pocket and began making jabbing motions towards her. The suspect then ran away on Hemenway Street.
The suspect was identified as Trevel Brewster of 33 Everett Street, in Everett. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
