FENWAY, MA —Hey Fenway folks, we've got some Patch news. We want to revitalize the Fenway Patch, giving this neighborhood the local news source it deserves. And we can't do it alone.

What we want for the Fenway Patch is probably the same as what you want: Transparent, complete, accountable reporting and information about what's happening in this specific community - from opinions on the new development happening in the neighborhood to street closing to restaurant reviews or Fenway Park musings. Who better to help connect and inform neighbors than you? Whether you just moved here or you've earned local knowledge after being here for years, you have a lot to offer your neighbors.

So we're reaching out to the community in hopes you offer your local voice in the online "pages" of Patch. We want you to become a Patch Mayor.

What's a Patch Mayor in 2018, you say?

  • A Patch Mayor is someone who uses Patch and our Facebook and Twitter pages to spread the word about about charity events, local celebrations, civic issues, weather, high school sports, new restaurants or businesses, and, well, what's going on.
  • They spark and guide local conversations as the host of your Patch about what's happening nearby — be it sweeping changes in the neighborhood's demographics, potholes or lost pets.
  • And they'll be published on Patch, reaching thousands of their neighbors and people nearby wondering what's happening around this nook of the city.
