Police: Fight Over Beer Line at Fenway
A fight broke out over someone cutting the beer line at a Sox game.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.
Officers responded to a report of a fight at Fenway Park at 10 p.m. on August 10.
Red Sox security took officers to the fourth floor, where they spoke to the victim, who was bleeding from the face and right ear. Medical staff treated the victim in Fenway’s EMT room.

A witness told police that a fight broke out when the victim and the suspect started arguing about cutting the beer line. Officers spoke to the victim, who told them that a man punched him in the face after accusing him of cutting the line. The witness took a picture of the suspect and showed officers. The suspect told police that the victim pushed him and that he swung. No witnesses stated that the victim touched the suspect.
Michael Ferro of 10 Ocean Avenue, Boston, MA was charged with assault and battery.
