Man Arrested for Alleged Metal Pipe Attack in Fenway
Police arrested a Quincy man on an outstanding warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

A Quincy man wanted for reportedly settling an argument with a metal pipe was arrested in the Fenway area on Friday.
At 8:57 p.m. on March 29, officers arrested Russell Holmes, of the Long Island Shelter, Quincy, MA, on a default warrant out of Boston Municipal Court. Holmes was arrested outside of 44 St. Alphonsus Street. The warrant was for an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The original incident occured in Clemente Park near 151 Park Drive at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Boston Police Officers responded to a report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in progress. The victim reported that an acquaintance of his struck him twice in the left leg with a metal pipe following a verbal disagreement. The victim refused medical treatment.
