Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, April 2: Food Drive at Panera

Here's what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly sunny day with a high of 43 degrees. 

2. Food Drive at Panera: Donate a box of pasta to Panera Bread )401 Park Dr.) on April 6 or 7 from 11am-2pm to help those in need at the Greater Boston Food Bank or Worcester County Food Bank  In exchange, the first 25 people to donate each day will receive a Mystery Panera Bread Gift Card (ranging in value from $2 - $50).  3. Jazz Night: Love jazz music? Join Hong Kong Café at Howard Johnson Fenway (1271 Boylston St.) every Tuesday night for Fenway Jazz Jam at 7:00pm. Fenway Jazz Jam is a free event that features a variety of different jazz artists for an evening full of entertainment and pleasure. 4. Running the Marathon? Share Your Story: If you're planning to run 26.2 straight miles, chances are you've got a good reason to do it. Share your own story by uploading your photo and more about yourself and your charity. 

5. Autism awareness: Mayor Thomas M. Menino today declared April 2 “Autism Awareness Day” in Boston and is encouraging building owners to light their buildings blue as part of a global initiative that kicks-off Autism Awareness Month and helps raise awareness about the disability.
