Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, April 5: 'Banned in Boston' at House of Blues
Here's what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly sunny day with a high of 57 degrees.
2. Banned in Boston: Head to the the House of Blues Boston (15 Lansdowne St.) tonight for a comedy fundraiser where Boston’s best known social, political, entertainment and media personalities put themselves in hilarious situations on stage – all for the benefit of Urban Improv. A pre-show soiree will kick-off at the Lansdowne Pub at 6 p.m. After, guests will saunter next door to the House of Blues for the madcap musical revue, which begins at 7:45 p.m. and features leading lights including Governor and Mrs. Patrick, Mayor Thomas Menino and Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton. Tickets are $150 and up. See here for more information.
3. Fenway Food Drive: Donate a box of pasta to Panera Bread (401 Park Dr.) on April 6 or 7 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. to help those in need at the Greater Boston Food Bank or Worcester County Food Bank In exchange, the first 25 people to donate each day will receive a Mystery Panera Bread Gift Card (ranging in value from $2 - $50). 4. Fenway Young Professionals: Coming up on May 1st is a networking opportunity for Fenway's Young Professionals. Meet up at 6 p.m. at Barrio Cantina for a night of networking and fun with some of Boston's emerging leaders. There will be complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. See here for more information.
5. Running the Marathon? Share Your Story: If you're planning to run 26.2 straight miles, chances are you've got a good reason to do it. Share your own story by uploading your photo and more about yourself and your charity.

Bonus Note: Mayor Menino will be in the neighborhood today when Red Sox President & CEO Larry Lucchino will give him a tour of some of the recent updates at Fenway Park, featuring visits to the renovated Champions Club and the Royal Rooters Club.
