Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, Dec. 18: Sen. Brownsberger Open Hours
Here are a few things worth knowing in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting today will be rainy and cloudy with a high near 50 degrees.
2. Meet Your State Senator: State Senator Will Brownsberger will hold open office hours tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Fenway Starbucks at 755 Boylston Street. All are welcome to visit Senator Brownsberger during this time to discuss issues, ask for help in dealing with state agencies, or talk about any other topic of concern. See here for more information.
3. Kids to Receive Donated Toys - Today, about 300 children from the South End/Lower Roxbury neighborhoods will be treated to toys and gifts at the Blackstone Community School from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. courtesy of ABCD’s South End Neighborhood Service Center. Community members and business leaders Edward P. Collins, Peter J. Sullivan and Pamela Ward will be acknowledged for their donations and long-time support of the center.

4. Volunteers Needed: The American Liver Foundation is seeking volunteers who will run the 2013 Boston Marathon as part of their team. This year will mark the 25th year participating as a charity partner of the Boston Marathon. See here for information on joining the team.
5. Art on Display at Northeastern: Starting on Dec. 20, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s (SMFA) December Senior Thesis Exhibition features work by three BFA students graduating in December: Amanda Brack, Elizabeth Howland and Juliana Valle. You can check out the exhibit at Ell Hall (360 Huntington Ave) on weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. See here for more information.
