Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, May 7: Muddy River Blasts Continue

See what's happening and what you should know in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day, with a high near 75 degrees.

2. Muddy River: The construction at the Muddy River project will continue its "statnamic testing," this Tuesday and Wednesday. What does that mean for you? Loud booms and bangs today and tomorrow from 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. Officials are urging Fenway residents and visitors not to be alarmed. See here for more information. 

3. Free Boot Camps:  Are you looking for a free way to jumpstart your fitness? Ultimate Bootcamp is hosting a full day of free bootcamps in the Longwood area today, at 5:30 a.m., 6:40 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. You can burn up to 500 to 700 calories in a one-hour session. 4. Swans are Back: The public garden's two swans, Romeo and Juliet, are back in the park as of today. The 25th Annual Return of the Swans celebration will start with entertainment at 11 a.m., followed by a parade at 11:30, from the Beacon and Charles Street corner of the park to the Boylston Street side of the lagoon at the Public Garden. At 11:45, the ceremony will take place where Romeo and Juliet will be returned to their summer home in the lagoon. 5. One Fund Sells Out in Five: Minutes, that is. The benefit concert for the One Fund featuring Aerosmith and other legendary rock stars at the TD Garden later this month has completely sold out already.
