Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, Nov. 15: Research Day at Brigham and Women's
Here are five things going on in Fenway-Kenmore and nearby.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a clear day with a high near 48 degrees. The evening will cloud over and the temperature will drop to 35 degrees.
2. Research Day at Brigham and Women's: The public is invited to a day-long celebration of the best and brightest research at Brigham and Women’s from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. today. There will be panel discussions led by leading researchers on various topics including cardiovascular disease, obesity and personalized medicine and more than 150 posters showcasing the most cutting-edge science, as well as a keynote address by award-winning author Atul Gawande, MD, and much more. 3. Election Debriefing: Stop by the Wheelock College Wheelock Family Theatre (180 Riverway) tonight for a live analysis of the 2012 election today at 3:30 p.m. Featuring Mary Anne Marsh of FOX News, Robert Gray of Fox 25 TV, and Steve Aveson. 4. Author Talk: The Boston Public Library is hosting a duo author talk with Diana Renn, author of Tokyo Heist and Gina Damico, author of Croack. The two will be talking young adult books from 3 to 4 p.m. The lecture is free and so are the snacks.
5. This Will Have Been: The Institute for Contemporary Arts is hosting This Will Have Been: Art, Love and Politics in the 1980’s from November 15 to March 3.
