The New Year started off on a sour note for one patron at Bill's Bar.   At 12:15 a.m. on January 1, officers responded to a report of an assault and battery at 5 Lansdowne Street.   The victim said that while inside Bill's Bar, she was approached by an unknown female described as 5-foot-6 and obese. The woman reportedly punched the victim in the face and swiped her iPhone 5 out of her hands and threw it on the floor. The attacker then left the scene. Police are still investigating. Information in this article was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate a conviction.
