2018 Foxborough Founders Day Event Guide

Here's what you need to know about the 30th anniversary of the annual Foxborough celebration!

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Founders Day has come a long way since starting as a gathering on Foxborough Common three decades ago. Who would have thought back in the late 80s that the day would turn into a celebration with a parade, field day, fireworks, and more?

Foxborough's biggest community party turns 30 Saturday and appropriately enough, that's this year's theme. Founders Day mainstays Paul Cutler, Rita Giovino, Cindi Haddad-Drew will be this year's grand marshals. The three have had some of the longest tenures on the Founders Day Planning Committee and helped make the event what it has become.

Like last year, Bob Hickey will be at the Common to start the day with the annual doll carriage and wagon parade near Memorial Hall. The parade will follow along with a day of fun at the Booth Playground.
