This was the first time FRCS has entered students in the Regional competition and in the Junior Division (middle school), FRCS won first place.

In addition, FRCS Middle School scholars earned five honorable mentions in the Junior Division.
FRCS High School scholars competing in the Senior Division won eight honorable mentions and three category awards for outstanding experiments.
Mr. Pavao, Ms. Kraus, Ms. Drummond and Mr. Yates-Berg did exceptional work this year with the FRCS Science Fair and creating opportunities for the program’s scholars to work with mentor scientists and researchers from our FRCS Science Fair partner, the Invensys Corporation.
The expertise and guidance that the Invensys mentors provided helped many of the FRCS scholars develop truly cutting edge experiments.
