Foxborough Man Charged With Drugged Driving Twice In A Day
Police say Kenneth Davis was found passed out behind the wheel of a truck and then caused a car crash hours later.

EVERETT, MA — A Foxborough man was arrested in Everett on drugged driving charges two times Monday, police announced.
Kenneth Davis, 50, was arraigned in Malden District Court on the charges Tuesday. An immediate threat notice has been sent to the Registry of Motor Vehicles, according to the Everett Police Department.
At 8:06 a.m., police responded to a report of a non-responsive truck driver slumped over the wheel. The driver, identified as Davis, was operating a gasoline tanker truck combination, police said. An officer was able to remove the key from the vehicle and an officer from the Everett Police Department Commercial Truck Traffic Enforcement Unit arrived at the scene and placed the truck driver out of service.

Davis was transported to a medical facility for treatment of a possible narcotic overdose.
Hours later at 2:25 p.m., police responded to a head-on crash on Beacham Street. Offices at the scene once again found Davis, who allegedly drove a Chevrolet Monte Carlo which drifted over the middle line into oncoming traffic, causing the collision. Police say Davis appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic substance. A drug recognition expert from the Revere Police Department confirmed that the suspect appeared to be under the influence of illegal drugs.

Davis was arrested and charged with his second drugged driving offense of the day.
