A Foxborough teen faces charges after allegedly attempting a holdup over the weekend.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Foxborough teen faces charges after allegedly attempting a holdup over the weekend.
Padraig John Farmer, 45, was arrested Sunday and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to rob, according to the Foxborough Police Log. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment in Wrentham District Court Monday and was is free on $1,000 bail, according to the Sun Chronicle.
The alleged victim told police that at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, two cars tried to box in his car while waiting to buy some marijuana. Farmer then allegedly came out of one of the cars with what looked like a gun, but the target was able to drive to the police station.

Police identified the weapon as a BB handgun.
Farmer is due back in court July 24.
