How Tom Brady Proposed To Gisele Bundchen

What was it like when Tom Brady proposed to Gisele Bundchen? For starters, she told the Patriots quarterback to get off his knees.

Bundchen shared the details of their proposal as part of Vogue Magazine's "73 Questions" video as part of a cover story on the Brazilian supermodel.

The video shows Bundchen answering questions as she walks around her Chestnut Hill home. The story about the proposal comes up in response to a question about the most romantic thing Brady has ever done for her.

"When he proposed to me, he made up his whole story how my apartment was flooding and I ran over there to try to fix the situation. When I got there, the whole apartment had candles and rose pedals everywhere, and then he went down on hit knee to propose and I was like, 'Get up!' because he just had surgery and had three staph infection infections," Bundchen said.

The 2008 proposal came shortly after Brady underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in the first game of the season, meaning that Bundchen had Brady's injured knee in mind while he was trying to be romantic.

The two started dating in 2006 and were married in February 2009.
