The Patriots' special teams and receivers coach <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28440034/sources-giants-hire-patriots-joe-judge-head-coach" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Joe Judge is taking the head coaching position</a> for the New York Giants, according to ESPN. Judge, 39, will become one of the youngest head coaches in the NFL. He takes over a Giants team that has been among the dregs of the league the last several years. It's a big loss for Bill Belichick and the Patriots, who may have seen Judge as the next offensive coordinator if Josh McDaniels also takes a head coaching job elsewhere. Judge headed up what is always a top special teams unit in New England. Belichick places as much emphasis on that phase of the game as any coach in the league.
