Man Injured Riding Dirt Bike In State Forest

Firefighters needed an hour to get the man out of the woods.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A man suffered injuries while operating an dirt bike in the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest Tuesday night.

At about 7 p.m., Foxborough Fire responded to a report of an injured rider. At the scene, they found a man in his 20's with an injury on the side of the trail. The man was taken out of the forest and transported to Igo Elementary School, where a medical helicopter took him to Rhode Island Hospital.

Firefighters needed an hour to get the man out of the woods.
