But an NFL spokesperson told Ryan Hannable of WEEI <a href="https://twitter.com/RyanHannable/status/1222170247979028485" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">that the report is false</a>. The game would have added another lengthy trip for what should be a well-traveled squad. The Patriots already have cross-country trips to play the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Seahawks as well as the Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots beat the Raiders at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City in 2017.
