• Shell casing found at Foxborough High School traced to project (wcvb.com) — Foxborough High School briefly went into a “hold in place” Tuesday after a staff member found an empty shell casing in a hallway, but officials now say there was never a threat. Police and administrators traced the casing to a woodworking project and quickly lifted the precaution, assuring families the campus remains safe. 
• Army Men's Basketball's New Tradition Comes To Baltimore (pressboxonline.com) — Foxborough gets a nod in Army men’s basketball’s growing tradition of playing nearby games the night before the Army-Navy football matchup, including the 2023 contest held in town. Coach Kevin Kuwik uses these trips to connect his players with the Army-Navy atmosphere, while this year’s stop at UMBC featured a strong performance from Maryland native freshman guard Jackson Furman.
