Patriot Place Announces Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina to Join Restaurant Lineup

FOXBOROUGH, MA – Patriot Place diners will soon be able to satisfy their appetite for Mexican cuisine with the addition of Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina to the lifestyle center’s restaurant lineup.

The high-end Mexican concept, which is expected to open this fall at 253 Patriot Place (across from Victoria’s Secret), is owned by Big Night Entertainment Group, which operates a number of first-class hospitality and award-winning food concepts known for their spectacular design, including Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge, Gem Italian Kitchen Lounge, Red Lantern Restaurant & Lounge and several concepts at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

At Patriot Place, Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina will serve authentic classic Mexican dishes such as tacos, enchiladas and burritos and other specialty plates as well as feature a tequila display with premium 100 percent Blue Agave tequila. The space will be custom-designed by Peter Niemitz of Niemitz Design Group. Niemitz will use high-end, reclaimed materials from the Southwest for the restaurant’s lighting fixtures, wallpaper, flooring, tables and chairs. The restaurant will include public and private indoor dining areas, two outdoor dining areas and a bar. The 7,800-square-foot space will also be outfitted with numerous HDTVs to watch all the sports action.

Big Night Entertainment Group expects to hire between 90 and 100 employees at its Patriot Place location. Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina will hold job fairs on Wednesday, Aug. 3, and Wednesday, Aug. 10.
