Patriot Place To Host Tree Lighting This Month: What To Know

FOXBORO, MA — The holiday season officially gets underway at Patriot Place on Nov. 25 when the shopping, dining and entertainment destination will host the annual Holiday Giving Tree Lighting and festivities.

Those events begin at 5 p.m. and will feature a tree lighting countdown, appearances by Santa, Mrs. Claus, Pat Patriot, Victorian holiday carolers and more.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 6 p.m. and culminates with a pyrotechnics display. Additionally, for the fourth year, one guest will take home a $500 cash prize just in time for their holiday shopping, courtesy of Santander Bank.

“Our annual Holiday Giving Tree Lighting marks the start of the holidays here at Patriot Place and we can’t wait to gather with family and friends to share in the magic of the season,” said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place. “Complete with carolers, festive special guests, the tree lighting, a dazzling pyrotechnics display and more, Nov. 25 will be an unforgettable night at Patriot Place. We’re also thrilled to once again collaborate with our friends at Cradles to Crayons to spread the joy this holiday season.”

Located at the Dean College Stage outside of Bar Louie and Citizen Crust, the Holiday Tree will shine bright all season long for guests to enjoy. In the true spirit of the season, Patriot Place, in partnership with Cradles to Crayons, will once again have a Giving Tree located alongside the Holiday Tree.

The Giving Tree features ornaments that each contain a special holiday request for a child in need. Patriot Place guests are invited to take an ornament and purchase the assigned gift to fulfill a child’s wish.

Gifts can be dropped off throughout the holiday season at the Patriot Place Management Office, located between Estella and Bar Louie, or at participating Patriot Place locations, including Bass Pro Shops, the Patriots ProShop, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Chick-fil-A and the Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel.

The Giving Tree helps us quickly fill the thousands of requests for children’s winter wear we receive."
