Patriots Owner Kraft Speaks On Status Of Jabrill Peppers
The team owner was on The Breakfast Club and said that, if the allegations are true, the team captain will no longer be with the team.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Patriots owner Robert Kraft made an appearance on The Breakfast Club Friday and discussed, among other topics, the status of Jabrill Peppers within the organization.
Peppers, a team captain, currently faces charges related to a domestic violence incident in Braintree, and was placed on the NFL's Commissioner Exempt List.
"We're living in a world now with so much on social media and so much that's reported is unfair in these kind of situations," Kraft said.

"If the facts are what's been reported publicly, then he's not with us," Kraft later added. "I'm personally just going to wait, knowing that these things can be unfair."
He added that both the league and the team are conducting investigations into the case to see if they can determine the accuracy of the allegations.

Kraft said he was out of town when the story broke, but has been in contact with team officials including Patriots' legal counsel and head coach Jerod Mayo.
The team owner did note that he's not jumping to a decision, adding that he believes there are circumstances where allegations are falsely published.
"If what was reported is true, he's gone," said Kraft. "There have been some suggestions that this was a setup and a lot of what's been reported is not accurate. I've seen in life ... someone could set up something and say something that's just not true."
Kraft said he "personally had that happen with [him]."
Peppers pleaded not guilty during a court appearance last week to charges stemming from a reported altercation with his girlfriend in Braintree.
He is is charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a substance believed to be cocaine and strangulation.
Peppers was also placed on the NFL's Commissioner Exempt List, meaning he won't be allowed to practice with the team of play in games.
