SMG Foxboro Family and Internal Medicine Practice Welcome New Doctor

Norwood Hospital and Steward Medical Group are pleased to announce the addition of Laurie Garabedian, DO, to the SMG Foxboro Family and Internal Medicine practice. Dr. Garabedian is a family medicine and primary care provider. The addition of Dr. Garabedian expands the choice of providers for residents in the community who are seeking high-quality health care close to where they live and work.

Dr. Garabedian provides care for patients for all ages from newborns to adults and has a special interest in preventative medicine and lifestyle medicine, including nutrition, exercise and wellness. With her training, Dr. Garabedian also offers patients osteopathic manual manipulation, providing them with hands-on therapeutic treatment for conditions including low back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and some types of headaches.

“Dr. Garabedian is an excellent addition to our growing practice at SMG Foxboro Family and Internal Medicine,” said Norwood Hospital President Kim Bassett. “Her high quality care, skill, and philosophy of treating the whole patient will benefit many members of our community who are seeking a primary care provider.”

Dr. Garabedian is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She completed her residency at the Family Medicine Residency Program at Brown University, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
