Trump Angered By Brady's Decision To Skip 2017 White House Visit
The Eagles' situation isn't the first time the president became mad that NFL players didn't want to visit him.

With President Donald Trump canceling a visit from the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, a new report has been released about the president's anger with the decision by his friend and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to skip the Patriots' trip to the White House last year.
The Washington Post reported that Trump was none too pleased when Brady said he would not join the team for the White House visit. That led to meetings with aides and even a call to Patriots owner Robert Kraft. A former senior administration official told the paper of a scene where Trump, worried that Brady's decision to skip the visit would reflect poorly on him, made calls and asked aides to fix the situation.
Trump eventually calmed down and the Patriots went to the White House. Several other members of the Super Bowl LI-winning team, including Devin McCourty, Chris Long, LeGarrette Blount, Alan Branch, and Martellus Bennett also declined the invitation.

While Brady once flashed a "Make America Great Again" hat in his locker, the friendship between the two has reportedly waned since Trump took the oval office. The New York Times reported late last year that Trump is disappointed that Brady has distanced himself.
