Season opener for Framingham High gymnastics team and home opener for Framingham High boys basketball against Natick tonight.

1. Framingham State University is holding a Baroque-themed Christmas concert is tonight at 7 in the University’s in the Heineman Ecumenical Center. The public is invited to the free concert.

2. FLYERS in action:

  • Gymnastics team has its season opener against Walpole at 7 p.m.
  • Boys basketball has its home opener against Natick High at 6:30 p.m.
  • Girls basketball travels to Natick for a game against the Red Hawks at 6:45 p.m
  • Wrestling team has an away match against Brookline at 5 p.m.

3. MUSTANGS in action:

  • Marian High indoor track team will take on Bishop Fenwick at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston at 4 p.m.
  • Marian High co-ed swim team will battle Arlington Catholic at Medford High School at 4 p.m.
  • Girls basketball has a home game against Lowell Catholic at 6:30 p.m.
  • Boys basketball has an away game against Lowell Catholic at 6:30 p.m.

4.The Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet at 7 in the Ablondi room in the the Memorial Building. At one point tonight, the two boards will have a joint meeting to talk about the Bethany property.

5. The Framingham Library is sponsoring a poetry workshop with Dr. Alan Feldman at 7 tonight. The workshop will take place in the Nevins Conference room at the Memorial Building, as the main Framingham Library is still closed.
