5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: December 24

1. The Memorial Building will close early today at 3 p.m. It will be closed on Friday for Christmas, and re-open on Monday.

2. The Flyers host Skate with Santa today at Loring Arena from noon to 2 p.m. Admission is $5 or $20 maximum per family. Admission includes a slice of pizza, beverage, and baked treats. Bring your own skates or rent a pair.

3. Due to Christmas, there are some changes to the trash and recycling schedule in Town.

• The Recycling Center will be open until 3 p.m. today.
• No trash or recycling collection on Christmas Day.
• Recycling Center closed on Christmas Day.
• Trash and Recycling for Friday customers will take place on Saturday, Dec. 26 starting at 7 a.m.
• Recycling Center will be open Saturday, Dec. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
