5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: December 3

Framingham pianist Amira Acre will perform a free concert tonight at the Callahan Senior Center.

During the Bookapalooza, Walsh students will read-a-loud from their favorite books, attendees can meet a local author, and do some holiday shopping. There will be story time and a craft for younger siblings based on the book The Mitten by Jan Brett .

2. There is a free classical concert at the Callahan Senior Center today. Framingham pianist Amira Acre will perform at 7. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Concert is sponsored by the Framingham Public Library and is being hosted by the senior center, as the main library is still closed.

3. The sophomore class at Framingham High is holding a fundraiser at Uno’s today. Dine in or take out and a percentage of all sales will go to the Class of 2018, if you use the coupon attached to this link.

4. Tonight, the Middlesex District Attorney and the Framingham Youth Development Council is hosting a public policy forum on the opiod crisis. “Confronting the Opiod Crisis: Crafting a Solution from the Inside” is from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 2. at Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building.
