5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: December 7
74th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, garage fire in Juniper Hill neighborhood Sunday, Team Framingham Lottery tonight, and more.

1. Today is the 74th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The surprise attack by the Japanese on the U.S. military base in Hawaii on Sunday morning Dec. 7 1941, led the United States into World War II.
Many flags will be flying at half-mast to note the anniversary.
2.The Framingham Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 call about a garage fire in the Juniper Hill neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

3. The Town of Framingham received a total of 84 applications for its Team Framingham 2016 random selection, according to Framingham Selectman Mike Bower.
The random selection for Team Framingham 2016 is scheduled for tonight at 7 in the Ablondi Room at the Memorial Building. The 22 lucky selectees will receive a bib for the Boston Marathon on Monday April 18, 2016.

4. Wednesday night at 10, the Framingham Rotary Club’s Annual Auction ends.
You can watch live on Access Framingham this week on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 8 to 10 p.m. on on Verizon channel 43, Comcast channel 9, and RCN channel 3.
