Framingham Public Schools are closed today to observe the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

1. Shana tova! The Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah began at sun down on Sunday.
Framingham Public Schools are closed today and tomorrow, due to the Jewish New Year!
Marian High School is open today.

2. Framingham municipal offices are open today, as is the senior center and the Framingham Public Libraries.
3. Celebrate the Jewish New Year and the Earth with an interfaith potluck Rosh Hashanah dinner at Open Spirit on the campus of Edwards Church tonight from 6:30 to 8:30.

Join Rabbi Katy Allen of Maʼyan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope and the One Earth Collaborative in welcoming the Jewish New by sharing blessings, a ritual around special foods, and interesting conversation. People of all faiths are welcome.

4. The main Fraingham Library will host Family Game Night for students in grades kindergarten or older from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required for a wii time slot, but just drop in to play board games.

- Marian High boys soccer has a home game today at 3:45 p.m. at Merchant Field
- Girls volleyball has a home match at 5:30 p.m. in the school’s gym.
