5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: September 18

Mustangs football against Lowell Catholic, Pat Braxton Trio at Amazing Things, Friday Night Lights at Walsh Middle, and PARK(ing) Day.

1. Framingham will participate in national PARK(ing) Day today. PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.

2. The combined Marian High/Keefe Technical will host Lowell Catholic tonight on the campus of Framingham State University.Kickoff will take place at the Maple Street field at 7.

5. Amazing Things hosts the Pat Braxton Trio on its stage at 8 p.m. tonight. Tickets are still available for jazz and blues singer Pat Braxton.
