5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: September 24
Potter Road, Stapleton and Hemenway Elementary schools hosting curriculum night and Barbieri Elementary hosting an open house tonight.

1. Fuller Middle School is holding parent informational coffee sessions this morning at 8:30 and tonight at 6;30 on its new after-school program.
2. Several elementary schools are holding curriculum events today.
- Parents of students in grades K-2 have one at Potter Road Elementary at 6:30 p.m.
- Parents of students in grades K-2 have one at Stapleton Elementary at 6:30 p.m.
- Parents of students in grades 3-5 have one at Hemenway Elementary at 7.
- There is an open house at Barbieri Elementary for grades K-2 at 7 tonight.

3. FLYERS in Action:
- Framingham High girls soccer team will host Newton North at 3:45 p.m. at Bowditch Field
- The girls varsity volleyball team will host Newton North for a 3:45 p.m match
- Girls swimming & diving will host Boston Latin for a 4:30 p.m. meet at Keefe Technical’s pool. They will be looking to go 6-0 on the season.
- The boys varsity soccer team has an away meet at Newton North at 3:45 p.m.
4. The Marian High soccer teams both won yesterday. The girls shut out Cristo Rey 8-0 and the boys defeated the Dorchester-based Catholic high school 3-1.

5. The Framingham Skatepark Advisory Committee is schedule to meet tonight at 7:15 at Parks & Recreation office, 475 Union Avenue. On the agenda is a discussion of the bids to design the skate park from two nationally-known firms.
