Eager to even the score, Framingham’s offense led a great drive of their own that included many yards on the ground by Dante Marino, Peter Sinesi, Jamar Williams, and a 3 yard touchdown run by Akye Boston.
Fired up by the touchdown, the Flyer defense was strong on their next few plays which included a great tackle by Isaiah Martino and a huge sack on 4th down by Keion Mitchell.
At halftime, the game was tied at 6-6.
Framingham received the kickoff to start the third Quarter but couldn’t score any points due to a fumble on their drive.
Norwood then regained grasp of the lead with a 43-yard touchdown run and a 2-point kick to make the score 14-6.
However, Framingham continued their pattern of tying the game.
Many runs by Dante Marino allowed Jamar Williams to speed up the left sideline and break tackles all the way to a 12-yard touchdown. The score was once again tied at 14-14 with Mason Moy’s 2-point kick.
Framingham’s defense dominated for the rest of the game and didn’t allow Norwood to score. Shawn Ashe, Dante Marino, and Ricky Santana were some of the many Framingham defenders to have strong performances.
Later, the Flyers took the lead when Jamar Williams’ 40-yard run set up Heriberto Lopez’s 13-yard touchdown run.
Lopez had another touchdown on a 43-yard run later in the game.
The Flyers won by a score of 27-14.
