AAA: Gas Prices Drop For 12th Consecutive Week

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 34 cents, from a low of $1.55 to a high of $1.89.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen two more cents and are down for the 12th consecutive week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.

AAA’s February 29 survey of prices in Massachusetts finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.68 per gallon, two cents lower than last week.

The Massachusetts price is seven cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $1.75.

A year ago at this time, the average price in Massachusetts was 69 cents higher at $2.37.
