Athletic Fees, Wi-Fi, School Choice, and Superintendent Evaluation on School Committee Agenda
The Superintendent of School is also expected to present a budget proposal $3 million less, after a budget summit with town leaders.

The Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 at King Elementary School.
On the agenda is a final vote on athletic fees. The School Committee is expected to reduce the current $225 fee by 50 percent to $110 for the 2016-17 school year.
Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott is expected to present a revised budget to the Framingham School Committee, after a budget summit with Town leaders last week. Originally, Scott presented a 10.8 percent increase in the current school budget of $115.73 million to a budget of $128.293 for the 2016-17 school year.

The new proposed budget is $125.296 million.
Of the $3 million cut from the original proposal, more than $2 million comes from out-of-district special education costs. The district now says its news estimate is closer to reality on those out-of-district expenses.

Also on the School Committee agenda is:
- Update on the school’s wi-fi problems
- Report on School Choice by the Superintendent’s Special Assistant Kevin King
- Report on the next steps in the process on the Fuller project after the MSBA vote in January.
- Presentation by Donna Wresinski, chair of the K-12 fine and performing arts department.
- Discussion on the Superintendent’s evaluation
