Body Found On Mass. Pike Identified As 22-Year-Old Man
Officials have identified the body found Wednesday night on the westbound side of the Mass. Pike.

AUBURN, MA — The body found Wednesday night with severe injuries on the Mass. Turnpike has been identified as a 22-year-old Norwell man, the Worcester County DA's Office said. Johannes H. Songdahl III's body was found near Exit 10 in Auburn. It was so severely injured that authorities could not immediately say whether it was a male or female.
Authorities offered little information after discovering the body, only asking for the public's help in identifying a body that was found in the westbound lanes. Police said they were investigating how the body got there. There were no abandoned vehicles or nearby passes.
