Boston Marathon 2025: What To Know In Framingham
From road closures to the expected timeline of runners making their way through the city, here's what to know ahead of race day.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The 2025 running of the Boston Marathon is fast approaching as the third Monday of April draws closer.
In Framingham, the race sees runners move along Route 135 as they head toward Natick, from mile 4.95 to 7.52.
Road closures are set to go into effect from approximately 7 a.m. to 1:55 p.m. on Monday, with the first runners coming into town around 9:25 a.m. when the first in the wheelchair men's division arrive.

The wheelchair women will be next around 9:31 a.m., followed by the pro men around 10:07 a.m. and pro women around 10:22 a.m.
Spectators gather around the Framingham Train Depot annually, where they watch runners and then hop on a commuter rail to Boston to catch the end of the race, and the post-finish line celebrations.
