Cocaine Trafficking Charges: Framingham Grand Jury Indictments

Two Framingham-related cases were announced by the Middlesex DA.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced Thursday the grand jury indictments from April 24 and May 29.

This included two Framingham related cases:

Domingo Ortiz, 48, of Framingham, was charged with trafficking more than 100 grams of cocaine, distribution of cocaine, subsequent offense, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, subsequent offense.

Ortiz allegedly sold cocaine at a boat launch on Mt. Wayte Ave. and then hid the drugs in fake cans and bottles in his car and home, reports MetroWest Daily News. The MetroWest Task Force had been investigating Ortiz after a tip that he sold drugs in the boat launch area.

Charles Roy, 31, was charged with armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Roy, homeless, was arrested on March 31 at 50 Clark St. for armed robbery with a knife, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault to rob.
