UPDATED: Dad Running Marathon with Miles for Miracles Team

The Framingham High graduate and Staples employee is part of the Boston Children's Hospital Marathon runners team.

On Monday, April 20, Daniel Merriam will be running the 119th Boston Marathon.

Th 1992 Framingham High graduate and Staples HQ employee, is running with the Miles for Miracles team of Boston Children’s Hospital.

“I am so proud to say that my husband Daniel,” said his wife Meredith. ”Children’s is extremely important to us as our daughter was hospitalized with extreme osteomyelitis in her ankle at the age of 2.5, which resulted in a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Her amazing team of doctors which she sees regularly allows her to live the life that every 5 year old should with lots of running, jumping and playing!”

Meredith said “We know not every family is as fortunate and that is why it is so important for us to be able to give back and raise as much possible for Boston Children’s.”

Daniel has set a fundraising goal of $6,000.

“I cannot wait to be with our 2 children (Madison & Tyler) at the finish line as he accomplishes this amazing goal,” said Meredith.
