Dedham Tackles the Framingham High Wrestling Team In An Intense Meet

Framingham High School’s varsity wrestling team lost their last home meet on Thursday, January 28th.

Framingham fought hard, but lost to Dedham, who was ranked #9 in the state.

The meet was very close but Dedham won with a final score of 35-38.

Although the Flyers lost, Framingham fought very well in all of the matches.

Junior Jordan Shapiro at 106 lbs won by points, Junior Joe Tolson at 120 lbs won by points, Junior and Captain Pablo Ogata at 132 lbs won by forfeit, Senior and Captain Maren Lamas at 152 lbs won by pin, Junior Ikaro Monteiro at 160 lbs won by pin, Sophomore Robbie Billsten at 195 lbs won by pin, and Senior and Captain Mikey Ramos at 220 lbs won by points.

The Framingham High School’s wrestling team is hoping for a win against Walpole in the upcoming week.
