Downtown Framingham Hosting PARK (ing) Day Friday
PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.

A couple of organizations have partnered to help residents remember what Downtown Framingham was like before vehicles changed everything!
The Framingham Downtown Renaissance organization, the Framingham Public Library and the Boston Society of Landscape Architects is hosting a PARK(ing) Day Friday, Sept. 18 in downtown Framingham from noon to 5 p.m.
The event will take place at Lincoln Street between Lexington and Pearl streets.

“Groovy park furniture, bike racks, planters, trees and surprises will delight and astound you,” wrote the Framingham Downtown Renaissance organization on its Facebook page. “Come see and be part of the fun outside the Framingham Public Library along Lincoln Street.”
