FramBARK Group Wants a Dog Park in Framingham
Group plans to educate Town Meeting members in the spring of 2016 for the need and submit a petition for a fall Town Meeting in 2016.
FRAMINGHAM, MA - Saturday, a group of dogs gathered on Fairbanks Road for the first-ever FramBARK dog social.
Framingham resident Shannon Stevens founded FramBARK. She has been rallying dog owners since September to get organized to create a dog park in Framingham.
Stevens, wants a safe, enclosed place in town for her rescue dogs Maddie and Sadie to play off-leash.

The Ardmore Road resident and others in town have been meeting regularly. They want to educate Town Meeting members this spring with the hopes of bringing a petition for the governmental group for a dog park in fall 2016.
There are more than 75 members in the FramBARK Facebook group.
