The Framingham Flyers High School Football Team wrapped up their season with their annual Thanksgiving Day matchup against Natick High School. The rivalry has been going on for years and each team plays their heart out in their seniors’ final game. Although the Flyers did not get the result that they wanted and the final score was 41-14 in favor of the Natick Redhawks, Coach Doherty and the rest of the coaching staff were still proud of how every player played.

The 2015 season had many highs and lows.

On a high note, the Flyers got their first win against Brookline after a winless season in 2014. The Flyers then got another win later in the season against Taunton. The coaching staff and of course, the players, all hope to continue growing as a program as next season approaches. The season has been viewed as a season for growing as the Flyers prepare themselves mentally and physically for all seasons to come.

Although the Flyers worked very hard this season, they definitely did not get the result that they wanted and finished the season with a record of 2-9. Despite the losing season, the Flyers continued to work hard and never give up. They hope that next year they will be able to put together a winning season and go back to their usual ways.

Going back to their usual ways would include making the playoffs and that is a big goal for the football team. The Flyers work hard and care deeply about the entire season, and they also want to beat Natick and take back the trophy that they know is theirs!
