Framingham Breaks Christmas Eve Temperature Record

The Town of Framingham isn’t exactly experiencing a white Christmas, but many did not expect to shatter any temperature records.
Framingham’s 70 degree temperature on Thursday disintegrated the previous Christmas Eve high temperature record of 61 degrees set back in 1996, according to Intellicast.

Boston shattered its record high temperature when the the National Weather Service announced it recorded a balmy 66 degrees at Logan airport on December 24.
Thursday’s temperatures are also the seventh-highest marks ever recorded in Massachusetts in the month of December.

However, it seems that Framingham may not be able to break its Christmas Day records this year. Weather.com currently projects highs of 59 degrees on Friday, falling short of the 63 degree temperatures recorded in 1964 by four degrees.
