The four-hour event features live music, guest speakers, an array of community organizations, and children's activities including alpacas

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Framingham will hold its 10th Framingham Earth Day festival on the Framingham Centre Common on Saturday, combining a spirit of celebration with a message of protecting the environment.

"The 2022 Framingham Earth Day Festival will offer an entertaining, educational, and family-friendly environment where participants can learn about living a more sustainable, earth-friendly lifestyle," said organizer Kat Suwalski, noting that this year's focus is on local groups. "This year’s festival will showcase the diverse organizations that embrace the vibrant environmental community in the city of Framingham."

The event will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. on the common, which is situated between Edgell Road and Vernon Street. Community groups and town committees will provide educational opportunities for children and adults about ways to make sustainable choices, conserve energy, support local businesses, as well as strategies to reduce, reuse and recycle.
