Framingham's Definitive Healthcare Lays Off Staff Ahead Of Earnings Call
The company is set to host its Q2 earnings call on Aug. 14, noting that revenue is expected to be $61 million for the quarter.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham healthcare technology company Definitive Healthcare has completed its second round of layoffs in 2023.
The news, first reported by the Boston Business Journal, comes ahead of the company's Aug. 14 Q2 earnings call.
Definitive reportedly laid of more than 40 employees last week, or roughly 4 percent of its workforce. Layoffs hit employees on the commercial and sales team hardest, the Worcester Business Journal reports.

Employees who were laid off will have their benefits continue for six months and their salaries continue for three months.
In a news release ahead of the company's earnings call, officials said revenue for Q2 is expected to come in at $61 million, meaning yearly revenue projections are in the range of 249 to 255 million, up between 12 and 15 percent.
