Framingham Democrats To Meet Sunday and Fill Vacant Seat

Bob Jubinville also will discuss his role with the Governor's Council, during the April 12 meeting.

The following is a press release from the Framingham Democratic Town Committee:

The Framingham Democratic Town Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on Sunday April 12, at 7 p.m. in the function room at the Framingham Green Apartments, 136 Maynard Road.

There will be a vote to fill a vacant seat on the Committee at this meeting. The vacant seat may be filled by any registered Democrat residing in the Town of Framingham.

All those who are interested in the seat should contact the Committee Secretary, Dr. Barbara LeDuc at bmleduc420@rcn.com with a request for consideration. Failure to so notify does NOT affect your right to be nominated and to seek this vacant position.

Only regular members of the Framingham Town Democratic Committee may vote for this position, although any registered Democrat may run.

This month’s program will feature a discussion of the role and function of the Governor’s Council with Bob Jubinville, our representative to that body.

There will also be a quick recap of the town-wide elections, and a discussion of upcoming legislative action to be advanced by our Framingham Democratic Town Committee.

All Democrats are welcome to attend and participate. Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable foods and daily living essentials to donate to the Committee’s usual worthy causes.
