FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham house fire has displaced four people, with the home being ruled a "total loss," according to Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

The Framingham Fire Department responded to a house fire at 40 Audrea Rd. on the afternoon of Oct. 15.

Dutcher said crews arrived to the scene of heavy fire and smoke coming from the home.

“Crews made an aggressive attack, but the fire had too much of a head start on us,” said Dutcher.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
