Framingham Fire Scorches Downtown Stores
Smoke from the fire damaged several businesses on Concord Street Monday night.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Monday night fire on Concord Street has impacted numerous local businesses, leaving multiple stores charred or smoke-damaged on Tuesday.
Flames could be seen engulfing a dry-cleaning and laundry storefront, neighbored by an accounting services group and dish network store in the 100 block of Concord. However, the damage went beyond those nearby stores.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that although the fire itself was contained to just two stores, smoke damage extended throughout the block of storefronts. Ultimately, nine businesses were damaged as a result of the blaze.
