Framingham High Alpine Ski Team Gets Crafty With Fundraising

The self-funded Flyers ski team is selling wreaths (pictured) to help with transportation for the third-year sports team at Framingham High.

The Framingham High varsity Alpine Ski Team has started training for its third year competing under the MIAA in the Mass Bay Ski League East.

A self-funded team, families have rallied to car-pool this growing team to the mountain the past two seasons.

This year, with 22 racers (plus equipment) they are in need of bus rides to 10 practices and 7 races at Blue Hills in Canton and Ski Ward in Shrewsbury.

Using items found locally and some creativity, the team is selling and delivering to your door “Let It Snow” ski-themed decorative wreaths for $25 that can stay up long after the holiday season ends.

All proceeds will go towards transportation and other team related costs.
